Zoom

When enabled, the Zoom option adds two magnifying glass icons to the frontend Trend Viewer:

• Zoom Tool (+) – Activates manual zooming. Click it, then select the desired start and end area directly in the chart to zoom in.
• Reset Zoom (−) – Resets the view to its original scale.

How it works

1. Click the Zoom Tool icon.
2. In the trend diagram, click and drag to define the zoom area.
3. The selected time/value range will be magnified for closer inspection.
4. Click the Reset icon to return to the full view.

Practical Use

Zooming is helpful for:

• Investigating anomalies or spikes in the data
• Closely analyzing specific time ranges or signal transitions
• Comparing fine-grained patterns in high-resolution datasets

Note: Zooming does not affect the data itself. It only modifies the frontend display.
