Settings

This setting controls whether the currently selected page in the frontend menu (burger menu) is visually highlighted.

This setting affects the frontend only. The editor (backend) remains unchanged.

When is this relevant?

Once you have created a menu using “Create Menu”, it appears in the frontend via the burger menu.

If Navigation Highlighting is enabled, the currently opened menu item will be marked with a colored bar – by default green, depending on the active theme.

What happens when disabled?

If this feature is disabled, there will be no visual highlighting. All menu entries appear neutral, regardless of navigation context.
