The Longitude field defines the east-west position of the map center and must be entered in decimal format (not degrees-minutes-seconds).
Correct: 117.221850
Incorrect: 104°02'56.4"E (will not work)
This number represents the horizontal axis on the map:
- Positive values = Eastern Hemisphere (e.g. Asia, Australia)
- Negative values = Western Hemisphere (e.g. Europe, Americas)
Tip: In Google Maps, left-click any location — a popup will appear at the bottom. Copy the second number shown; this is your longitude.
