Latitude

The Latitude field defines the north-south position of the map center and must be entered in decimal format (not degrees-minutes-seconds).

Correct: 39.119095
Incorrect: 39°07'08.7"N (will not work)

This number represents the vertical axis on the map:

• Positive values = Northern Hemisphere (e.g. China, Europe)
• Negative values = Southern Hemisphere (e.g. Australia, South Africa)

Tip: To find the correct decimal value, left-click a location in Google Maps and copy the first number from the popup box.
