The Role condition controls visibility of UI elements based on user roles rather than specific user accounts. This approach is ideal for managing access at scale when multiple users share the same level of responsibility or permission.

Use Cases

  • Show advanced settings only to users in the “Admin” role
  • Hide technical controls from users without the “Support” role
  • Grant interface access to entire groups, such as supervisors or maintenance teams

How It Works

  • A UI element is made visible to all users assigned to the selected role

  • Roles are defined and managed under:

    • Settings > Users > Roles

  • Changes to a role’s members affect visibility for all associated users
