Show Lines

The Show Lines option controls whether the individual data points in a trend are visually connected with lines. This is particularly useful for displaying continuous or time-dependent values like temperature, pressure, or energy consumption, where the relation between consecutive points carries meaning.

Behavior:

• Enabled: A continuous line is drawn between all visible data points, making patterns and changes easier to interpret.
• Disabled: Only the raw data points are shown as discrete markers (dots), with no connecting line.

Note: This setting only changes the chart visualization – it does not modify or interpolate the underlying data.
