The Custom States element is a display-only control that visualizes system states received via a connection string from external devices such as PLCs. It does not support user interaction or direct control. Instead, it reflects real-time conditions of connected systems, ranging from simple indicators (e.g., LED symbols) to complex graphical representations of machines or production lines.

Custom States are ideal for supervisory views, where operators need to monitor changing statuses without the risk of unintended manipulation. For example, in an industrial bottling plant, Custom States can be used to display whether a conveyor belt is active, a filler station is in standby mode, or a safety gate is closed—all updated in real time based on input signals.

If user interaction or direct control of states is required, consider using a Custom Toggler or Custom Slider instead.
