Themes
In the Settings > Themes section, you can create and manage your own color themes for the PLCVisu frontend and backend.
A theme always consists of two modes: Light Mode and Dark Mode. Both must be fully defined before the theme can be saved.
Creating a Theme
When creating a new theme, you must provide the following color values for both modes (Light & Dark):
- Primary Color
- Primary Contrast Color
- Secondary Color
- Secondary Contrast Color
- Warn Color
- Warn Contrast Color
- Font Color Primary
- Font Color Secondary
- Body Background Color
- Box Background Color
- Default Mode (Light or Dark)
All fields are mandatory – the “Save” button will only become active once all colors are defined, allowing you to save the theme.
Display and Selection
After saving, the new theme appears in the overview with a preview of the main colors and a star icon for selecting it as the default theme.
Selecting an active theme directly affects the visual appearance in both the frontend and backend – including colors for navigation, buttons, and backgrounds.
