Connection Types
PLCVisu supports two main types of connections to enable real-time communication between the frontend (HMI) and backend systems:
PLC Connection (Direct connection to controllers)
The PLC connection type enables direct real-time communication with any PLC system — not limited to WAGO. It is ideal for environments where a physical PLC (e.g. running CODESYS) is connected locally or over the network.
- Direct connection to live automation systems
- Ideal for real-time production use. Requires a configured symbol table in your CODESYS project
